Only for homes, and only for on-grid systems (no battery) with made-in-India panels. Paid into your bank account after the system is installed and the net meter is fitted.
How to apply
- Register on the national PM Surya Ghar portal with your electricity consumer number and mobile number.
- Apply for rooftop solar and wait for approval from your electricity company.
- Choose a vendor registered with your electricity company and get the system installed.
- Submit the installation details and apply for the net meter.
- After the net meter is fitted and checked, submit your bank details for the subsidy.
