Common questions

What does it cost to charge an EV at home in Gujarat?

Usually ₹6.5–9 per unit, because charging adds units at your highest slab. A compact SUV doing 1,000 km a month adds about ₹1,306 to an Ahmedabad home's bill, about ₹1.31 per km.

Is it cheaper to charge during the day?

With a smart meter, units used between 11 am and 5 pm get 60 paise off. With rooftop solar, daytime charging uses your own spare solar units.

How much does public EV charging cost?

Public fast chargers usually charge ₹18–25 per unit, two to three times the home rate: about ₹2.80 per km for a compact SUV.
